Welcome Inn Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

I’m a little behind on my Paper Pumpkins, so I decided to pull one out and work on it. I grabbed one of the latest ones that coordinates with one of my favorite papers from the new catalog, Countryside Inn. I absolutely fell in love with that paper when I first saw it. There’s something about blue and white paper that attracts me. And this paper is so fun. It has little foxes and bunnies hidden in it as well as beautiful floral prints.

So when I opened the box I was excited to see some of the prints in Calypso Coral! I always make up the cards as the instructions suggest, so I did that first. Here they are.

I really like them. There is a die cut available for subscribers, but of course I couldn’t find mine! One of these days I will get organized. Anyway, I couldn’t wait to try something with that gorgeous coral paper. Since the card is printed on the front and back, I cut it in half to make two cards out of one. I had just ordered the Patchwork Pieces die cuts and decided to try to make two cards out of one piece. So I cut one out of the paper and the other out of Basic White cardstock.

If I would have been thinking, I could have used the frame from the printed card and made four cards out of one!

In the first card I used the hoop die cut and the sentiment from the Crafting With You bundle. I used the same sentiment and flower stamp from that bundle in the second one, using Stampin Write Markers in Calypso Coral and Garden Green and the Cheerful Daisy die cut for the fern.

I think this last one is my favorite. Using the Countryside Corners dies, I die cut a piece from the patterned card, and the larger one from Calypso Coral. The sentiment and flower and leaf die cuts come from the Timeless Arrangements bundle. This is another great bundle! You can do so much with it.

Hope you enjoyed these alternatives. If you would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, you can go here to sign up! It is a fun way to make quick cards and get some creative ideas!

Spread the love!
